YFEE goes India

Speaker Veranstaltung

05.05.2015, 18:30 - 21:00 h

Join us for a unique trip to India! In this English-speaking event we visit a country that not only offers a rich culture, abundant nature and fantastic food – India offers a lot of great career opportunities for women.

Waseem Hussain, CEO and founder of MARWAS, Switzerland’s market leader for intercultural India trainings, coaching and consulting, will first drive us through India’s business culture. Being a Swiss citizen of Indian origin, he knows well how to navigate between both cultures and will outline to us the biggest challenges and traps for business in general and for women in specific.

Rati Menon, Managing Director at TATA Interactive Systems Switzerland, has not only lived and worked in both cultures, but also successfully managed family and career. She will join the podium discussion with Waseem and share with us the experiences she made and the challenges she faced in both cultures.

After an introduction about India’s corporate culture by Waseem Hussain, Rati Menon will join the podium discussion and explain to us how she made it to the top of her organization even after several years of maternity leave where she focused on her family rather than on her career. The The podium discussion will be rounded by an FAQ session and followed by a networking apero with Indian food by Chalet India, Horgen.
